Are you planning to shop online? Keep these security tips in mind:
- Use trustworthy web sites and apps that are widely recognized and have a good reputation.
- Protect yourself: Read sites’ privacy policies to know how personal information will be used.
- Beware of deals that are too good to be true.
- Make sure online purchases are secure: Look for a lock symbol in the lower right corner of your internet browser. The URL should be HTTPS instead of the traditional HTTP.
